Scope of Work
Following a comprehensive inspection of the deck, it has been noted that certain areas require urgent repair. The overall workmanship is below acceptable standards. Key areas include a lack of proper headwall flashing, which should be present to prevent moisture penetration on the bottom of the wall. The framework connecting to the house has inadequate flashing on the exterior beam, making it difficult to repair. Moreover, the existing bracing does not adequately support the joists, and a new support with two posts and a crossbeam will be installed at the cantilever area to address these issues.
